I've been in the DEAD SEA!!! 301674

How cool is that! It was heaps of fun, I honestly didn't know what to expect. A normal sea has 3% salt content & the dead sea has 30% which is why its so easy to float. Its mad! You can lie on your back & stick both arms & both legs out of the water with out even trying to maintain your balance. Ok dead sea was this morning. I'm now in Jordan & internet here is really expensive. The Jordanian dinar is worth close to or more than the English pound!

The last week has been awesome & there are so many things to write about but I don't have time! :o(

Things I'll expand on later:
1) my shopping spree in Dahab where I only spent about $40au & got heaps of stuff.
2) how hard it is to find a bikini in a Muselim country!
2) the ferry trip from Egypt to Jordan, the 5 hour delay & the 2000 people on the boat... :)
3) Wadi Rum & how amazing it is there in the desert & my run down this massive sand dune where I managed to free fall & rolly pole down for a few seconds only to get covered in Red sand. hehehe, it was classic!!!
4)Petra - We went yesterday & it was amazing. Only problem was that I was finally struck down by a tummy bug, had to happen at least once in 5 months of traveling in developing countries I suppose... So I wasn't feeling the best but had to go, man, couldn't come all the way to Jordan & miss out on Petra! Last night we watched Indiana Jones & the last crusade which shows one of the tombs at Petra - it was surreal! But very very cool!

Times up on internet so have to go. More later. Oh & it sucks, Aaron & Karen (who I'll write more about later) leave the trip to day :o( We have 2 new people joining & the 2 boys, Nick who started with me plus Frances who joined us when we left Cairo. I'm gonna miss Karen heaps, we've had such a good time!!!!!!

Off to get ready for dinner now. We're going to a Irish pub - in Jordan! Ha! I swear there's one EVERYWHERE you go!!!
